India Condemns Attack on Merchant Vessel Off Oman Coast, Ten Indians Rescued

India has strongly condemned a drone attack on a merchant vessel, MV Chem Pluto, in the Arabian Sea, approximately 200 nautical miles off the coast of Oman. The incident, which occurred recently, prompted immediate response efforts by Indian authorities.

The vessel, with 21 Indian and one Vietnamese crew member, reported the attack. Ten Indian sailors were successfully rescued and brought to safety. However, one Indian national is currently reported missing. The Indian Navy dispatched INS Mormugao to the site to investigate the incident and ensure maritime security.
