The proposed techfin centre will serve as a global hub for NPCI's flagship payment products, including the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), RuPay, and the Aadhaar-enabled Payment System (AePS). GIFT City, recognized as India's only operational International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), offers a conducive environment for cross-border financial services. Through this centre, NPCI intends to globalize its technological innovations and payment solutions, reinforcing India's position as a leader in fintech.
