KPSC Exam Controller Arrested in Veterinary Officer Recruitment Scam

The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) exam controller, Sudhir, has been taken into custody by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for alleged involvement in the veterinary officer recruitment scam. This development follows a complaint filed with the KPSC by a candidate regarding malpractices in the recruitment process. The alleged scam pertains to the recruitment of 250 veterinary officers, for which KPSC conducted exams in 2020. The CID investigation has revealed instances of candidates paying large sums, reportedly up to Rs 60 lakh, for jobs. So far, over 10 individuals, including agents and candidates, have been arrested in connection with the case.
